My name is Lara Duke, and I am here to help you find pure joy and live a life of spiritual freedom. Together we will go on a journey of self-discovery and future possibilities. During this process, I will gently challenge you on any limiting beliefs that you may hold about yourself and the world around you.

Additionally, I offer support through pet grief, grief and the end-of-life journey, ensuring you feel guided and understood every step of the way.

I am a fully qualified transformational life coach – specialising in spiritual growth coaching, purpose, manifestation and abundance coaching and grief and end of life coaching. I am also a fully qualified Reiki Master.
 

I have completed the transformational life coaching course with Animas Centre for Coaching which if fully accredited by the ICF. I also have a degree in Psychology and have completed studies in NLP and Neural plasticity.

I achieved my Reiki 1 and 2 at the Reiki Academy London and my Reiki Master level at Reiki Maya London.

What is Reiki?

A Powerful, Holistic Healing Practice

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that uses universal life force energy to promote balance, healing, and well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. The word "Reiki" comes from two Japanese words: "Rei," meaning universal or divine, and "Ki," meaning energy or life force. This energy flows through all living things, and Reiki practitioners channel this healing energy to help restore harmony and balance within the body and mind.

A Brief History of Reiki:

Reiki was developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist monk, who was seeking a method of healing that could be used universally to help others. According to the tradition, Usui had a profound spiritual experience while meditating on Mount Kurama, where he received the knowledge and power to channel universal energy for healing. This became the foundation of Reiki healing.

Usui later taught Reiki to others, and over time, the practice spread across Japan and beyond, evolving into the system we use today. In the 1930s, Hawayo Takata, a Japanese-American woman, brought Reiki to the West, where it began to grow in popularity as a form of holistic healing. Reiki continues to be practiced worldwide, and its healing benefits are now widely recognized.

How Reiki Works:

​

We’re alive because life force energy flows through us. This energy travels within our body through pathways called chakras, meridians, and nadis, and surrounds us in a field known as the aura. Life force nourishes our organs and cells, supporting their essential functions. When this energy flow is disrupted, it affects the functioning of the organs and tissues.

The life force is influenced by our thoughts and emotions. Negative thoughts or feelings—whether we’re aware of them or not—can block this flow, attaching themselves to our energy field and disrupting the life force. This leads to a decline in the function of our organs and cells.

Reiki works by channeling energy through the affected areas of the energy field, infusing them with positive energy. It raises the vibrational frequency of the energy field around the body, where negative energy is stuck. This helps break down and release the negative energy, clearing, aligning, and healing the pathways, allowing the life force to flow freely and healthily again.
